Riffle's Restaurant
In 1984 the Riffle family of Bob, Joan and Bill opened first restaurant in Northville( Now known as Deadwood). They were very sucessful through the 80's building a large clientel of regulars and known for having good food at reasonable prices. Joan and Bill then left to opened second location in South Lyon ( Now known as Lyon Cantina). This location was known more as a family restaurant and recieved numerous awards for " Best Breakfast" and " Best Soup" from the city of South Lyon. In 2006 Joan decided to retired so they sold then location in 2007. Bill then decided he wasn't ready to give this business up and opend the third location. Which is located in the heart of Downtown Northville at 160 e. main st. in Nov. 2008. Which now his family helps out Wife Heidi, Daughter Rachael and Son Jason. This location is known for home cooked food. Some of the favorites are Cherry Turkey Salad, Thanksgiving Sandwhich, Pot Roast Dinner and homemade soups. On Fridays fish is served from Michigan whitefish, Lake Perch and of course Fish and Chips. This restaurant was also voted " best family restaurant" in 2011 by the northville record. The Riffle family is happy to be back in the city of northville.
